Heart Disease Prediction System is the system that helps to predict the heart disease mainly cardiovascular. The aim of this study is to define a fuzzy based prediction system that will accept the patient basic information as well as the symptoms as input and identify the chances of heart disease. This article discusses the recent development of edge detection algorithms available in image processing fields. It allows us to describe the expertise in more intuitive, more human-like manner. Mamdani method is widely accepted for capturing expert knowledge. In an image formation model, discontinuities in image brightness are likely to correspond to four assumptions: discontinuities in depth, discontinuities in surface orientation, changes in material properties and variations in scene illumination. The purpose of detecting sharp changes in image brightness is to capture important events and changes in properties of the world. There are different algorithm based edge detectors like Canny, Sobel, Iverson and they depend on the input parameters. Edge detection is a fundamental tool particularly in the areas of feature detection and feature extraction. The step detection is the problem of finding discontinuities in 1D signals and change detection is the problem of finding signal discontinuities over time. The points in which image brightness changes sharply are typically organized into a set of curved line segments termed as edges. Edge detection is the name for a set of mathematical methods that aims at identifying points in a digital image at which the image brightness changes sharply and it has discontinuities. Finally, a computer system was designed which would be used as prototype for further improvement.Įdge detection is the most common preprocessing step in many image processing algorithms such as image enhancement, image segmentation, tracking and image/video coding. Analysis of the current system was carefully carried out to determine where modification, changes and improvement should be made in the design of the proposed system. This research considers the manual processes involved in the registration of patients in the rural medical centers, diagnosis and also the schedule of a follow-up appointment. This research work looks into the areas of rural medical care that could be aided with the use of an expert system that would automate some of the processes and at the same time supplement the few medical officials available in the rural areas in order to improve on the healthcare system. Rural medical care is a health care system found in the rural areas, whose operations are at its poorest state due to lack of sufficient medical practitioners. An expert system is a computer program that simulates the thought process of a human expert to solve complex decision problems in a specific domain. This paper looks into how an expert system can be used to solve rural problem as it relates to medical care.
